The ingredients needed to make Mango gravy:
  1. Get 4 peeled mangoes
  2. Take 1 tsp mustard seeds
  3. Make ready 1 tsp Urrad dal
  4. Get 1 tsp Channa dal
  5. Take leaves Curry
  6. Get 0.25 tsp Hing
  7. Get 4 tsp jaggery or more based on the sweetness
  8. Get 0.5 tsp salt
  9. Take 4 tsp coconut grated
  10. Take 2 tsp Rasam powder
  11. Make ready 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  12. Prepare 1 red chilli

Its nothing but the usual vathal kuzhambu with ripe mango in it.. Ripe mangoes are been cooked in its own juice, which makes the curry so special. But I made it with normal sweet mangoes because, I couldn't get nattu manga here in US. Mango pulp gives a tangy sweet taste and flavour to the gravy.

Steps to make Mango gravy:
  1. Peel the mangoes
  2. Mixer: 4tsp coconut + 2 tsp rasam powder +1 red chilli + turmeric+water. Grind it.
  3. In pan add oil + mustard seeds +urrad dal + curry leaves + Channa dal+ hing+mango +step 2 mixer ingredients and sauté for 5 mins adding jaggery and salt.
  4. Add coriander leaves on the top for aroma and flavor. Serve this with rice or Roti.
