- Wash rice and remove excess water
- Add turmeric, garam masala, coriander, salt and sugar
- Heat oil in a pan
- Add hing, rai jeera, onion, ginger garlic paste and curry leaves. Stir until onion turns brown.
- Add tomato. Add 1 tbsp of ghee.
- Add the rice mixture.
- Add hot water to the mixture and let it boil.
- Cook the above mixture in a pressure cooker for 1-2 whistles. (Already water is boiled)
