- Get 1 tsp Mustard seed
Steps to make Vegetable Uthappam:
- Soak the rice and urad dal for 8 hours and Menthia.
- Grind them into smooth batter along with cooked rice or puffed rice.Add water little
- Transfer into a vessel and ferment over night. Next day add salt and make soft idli or dosa.
- Coconut Chutney : In a mixer add coconut,ginger,garlic,green chilies and salt add little water and grind to smooth paste.Then add the channa dal and grind again.
- For the tempering :Heat oil in a pan,once hot add mustard seed,dry red chilli and curry leaves and add it to chutney.
