Add a teaspoon of cumin seeds and a pinch of salt. Mix well and use this as topping. Skip green chillies & ginger if you don't want it spicy. You can make Moong Dal dosa as thin or thick as you prefer.
Steps to make Pesarattu masala dosa:
- Soak Green moong dal + Channa dal + puffed rice for 4-6 hours. Less soaking time will give you crispier dosa.
- In a mixer grind the soaked ingredients + cumin seeds+ ginger + chilli. Grind it smooth.
- Prepare masala as stuffing for pesarattu dosa. You can see my masala dosa recipe for steps. This is optional to enhance the pesarattu dosa.
- Now add chopped onions + hing + salt + jaggery to the pesarattu batter and add water if required.
- In a dosa pan brush some oil and pour the batter. Add masala on top of it. Roast it on both the sides
